SBC Celebrates 3 Years with Falcon Investments

Salisbury Business Center Located in Downtown Salisbury Celebrates 3 Years with one of its first tenants –  Salisbury Native Seth Waller, Owner of Falcon Investments

Salisbury Business Center (SBC) recently celebrated three years with one of its first tenants-  Seth Waller, owner of Falcon Investments.  Falcon Investments is now one of ten businesses that currently resides in the 42,000-square foot Salisbury Business Center building located in historic downtown Salisbury at the corner of South Main Street and Bank Street.

Waller and his wife Kristen grew up in Salisbury.  The couple moved back to the area several years ago to start a family and business.  Waller manages an investment portfolio of individual stocks for clients, provides active investment management strategies inside of 401Ks and 403Bs, and provides other retirement and financial planning services for businesses, families, and trusts throughout North Carolina.

He moved in to the Salisbury Business Center building shortly after construction was completed in 2014.  The building’s developer and primary tenant Integro Technologies, a high-tech machine vision engineering company, occupies the majority of the building.  The remaining space is leased to businesses and organizations.  Tenants share common areas including a fully equipped conference room with teleconference capabilities and furnished break areas.  They also share the benefit of a live receptionist for greeting and announcing guests in the reception area of the lobby and daily mail receipt.  A large parking lot with free parking is located on site.

Tenants also have the ability to rent the 76 -seat Salisbury Auditorium which is located in the building at a reduced fee.  The Salisbury Auditorium features two story stadium-style seating and state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and accessories for professional presentations, workshops, and training.  The auditorium is available for rent to the general public as well.

Waller said he has been pleased with his decision to locate his business at the Salisbury Business Center.  “This is the best hidden value in Salisbury,” Waller said.  “My clients are happy with the professional atmosphere, the receptionists, the conference room, and easy-to-find location with ease of access right off of I-85,” he added.  “It has been great working with Sharon Baker and the SBC.”  Baker is the general manager for the Salisbury Business Center (SBC).

Office suites range in size from 275 – 4,600 square feet with an option for companies to custom outfit spaces to meet their specifications.  Several companies located at the SBC have headquarters out of town and maintain a satellite office in the building.  The ease of access right off of I-85 and central, convenient location to nearby Charlotte, Winston, Greensboro, High Point, and Raleigh makes it a prime and highly desirable location.  In addition, nearby rail and air access is an asset for companies.  The Rowan County airport (RUQ) is located only a few miles away and provides service for general, corporate, and military aviation.  Several larger international airports are within less than an hour’s commute.

High tech companies that reside in the building require the most advanced internet and communications infrastructure and technology on the market to conduct business remotely and globally.  The developer’s business depends upon it as one of the world’s leading machine vision integration innovators.  Having Integro’s high tech engineering and design staff on site is a definite advantage.

The exterior of the building was designed to complement the surrounding architecture of historic downtown Salisbury where the building is situated in the heart of the restaurant and theater district.  The interior has lofty open spaces with a large staircase in the lobby, custom milled woodwork, mission style architecture and furnishings, and a colorful and inspiring collection of artwork on display by local artists.

The building is carefully maintained and managed with attention to detail including ecologically sound ECOLAB® products for facility cleaning.  The engineering influence that flows from the developer is apparent.  Everything is expected to flow like clockwork so that everyone can focus and attend to the business at hand, achieve great things, and prosper.
